These two paths would determine how far you want to go.
THE LONG ROAD:
This entails you start to experiment by yourself. You download loads of You-Tube Videos and start to sieve the treasures out of the trash. This road is not bad if you already have a high paying job and have enough time to figure it out.
THE SHORT ROAD:
You find someone who already has the result you are looking for and ask them to teach you. This is faster because you don’t have to sieve through tons of information. The person would just give you a template that works. And you start making money. This also makes you a professional in a very short time and you can start making money and scaling your business.
How to Generate Traffics:
When it comes to generating traffic for your affiliate offer, there are many ways. There are three major ways you can go about it and this depends on the result that you desire and how fast you want to see it.
1. Paid Traffic
2. Earned Traffic
3. Free Traffic (SEO, Social Media Shares and Virality)
These are the major ways to generate traffic.
PAID TRAFFIC
If you want to start making money with affiliate marketing today, then you should use paid traffic. This involves running ads on any of the following platforms:
· Facebook ads
· Twitter ads
· Google ads
· Yahoo Germini
· Reddit ads
· Propeller ads
· Taboola
· Outbrain
· UDIMI
· And more.
All the other ads platform dislike affiliate marketing except UDIMI. For a newbie and a pro, I would always recommend UDIMI because it’s not restricted, it’s easy to use and it has the highest conversion rate that I have seen so far. It is really great for affiliate marketing.
If you are starting out as an affiliate marketer, you would have to split test and test in order to know what works. Every ad platform has its secrets and hacks that affiliate use, if you don’t use these hacks, you will be suspended. Google, Facebook and Twitter really dislike affiliate marketing and so most affiliate use old hacks.
If you want to start making money TODAY, use paid advertisement.
EARNED TRAFFIC:
This is traffic that you earn by working for it. An example is social media accounts. You have to spend time and time working for it. This also includes influencers who have to spend and work to maintain their followers.
This TAKES TIME. If you want to start making money today, this might not be for you. This also include You-tube Creators that have to upload a video every week to maintain their channel. This is a long run strategy. The beautiful thing about this way of generating traffic is that it is very rewarding but takes time. Some YouTube channels take years to gain traction.
Free Traffic (SEO, Social Media Shares and Virality):
Free traffic is called free because it’s not based on your effort or money, its circumstantial per say.
· SEO (Search Engine Optimization): imagine your article ranking high on Google and it has an affiliate link in it. This is free Traffic. You work once and just keep enjoying the benefit.
· Social Media Shares: This is when people share your content with their own followers. And they patronize you.
· Virality: Your post or article goes viral.
The thing about free traffic is that it is not dependent on you and so, you can’t foretell. Yes, it might not even happen often.
